Fit and safety

Adjustable to fit most adult cats (approx. 22–34 cm neck). You should fit two fingers under the collar.

The breakaway buckle releases under strain, so your cat can't get stuck if the collar snags. The bell clips off if you'd rather go without.

How the tracking works

The tracker is a Bluetooth tag, not a GPS unit. It reports its location through nearby phones on Apple's Find My network (iPhone) or Google's Find Hub network (Android). The phones don't know it's there and nobody sees your pet's location but you.

In towns and suburbs there are phones almost everywhere, so updates are frequent. In remote bushland with nobody around, updates only come when someone passes by.

Is this a GPS tracker?

No. It’s a Bluetooth tracker that uses Apple’s Find My or Google’s Find Hub network. Phones nearby pick up its signal and securely report the location to you. That’s why there’s no SIM, no charging every few days and no subscription.

In towns and suburbs there are phones almost everywhere, so it updates often. In remote areas with nobody around, it can only update when a phone passes by.

Does it work with Android?

Yes. The same tracker works with iPhone (Find My app) or Android (Find Hub app). You choose when you pair it, and it links to one account at a time.

Are there any ongoing costs?

No. $49 is the full price for the tracker and the collar, whichever option you pick. The finding networks are free. The only thing you’ll ever buy is a CR2032 coin battery, about once a year.

Why is the alert sound turned off?

Find My trackers normally beep when they’ve been away from their owner for a while. That’s an anti-stalking feature designed for bags and keys. On a pet it just means random beeping, and it leads anyone who takes your pet straight to the tracker. We disable the speaker before it ships.

What if it’s not right for me?
